Why choose a puppy from a CO-OP?

Many buyers end up with dogs from disreputable sources because reputable breeders are hard to find, misrepresented online, or priced out of reach. Can we meet the puppies in person?

Yes. We firmly believe that buyers have a right to meet their future puppy before committing to a lifelong relationship with an animal. If you see a puppy on the website that you want to visit, just give us a call or text:

Traditional breeders often restrict visits due to the risk of introducing contagious diseases like parvovirus and distemper, which can devastate litters or introduce parasites/illness to the whelping area, risking future litters and increasing vet bills. To mitigate these risks, our co-op implements safety protocols: we vet interested buyers through phone interviews, prioritizing in-person puppy visits with the most compatible families and pups, enforce sanitary precautions such as shoe sanitization and handwashing, and offer PARVO/DISTEMPER guarantees on our puppies.

We believe not allowing in-person visits with puppies can make reputable breeders less customer-friendly and less accessible to those new to the concept of reputable breeding to begin with.

Where are you located?

Are largest concentration of CO-OP Breeders are located in Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. We have smaller CO-OP groups in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Washington, and Montana.

What comes with a CO-OP Adoption?

Each puppy from our co-op comes with a thoughtfully curated puppy pack designed to ease the transition into their new home. This includes several days’ worth of their current food, safe chew toys, and comfort items carrying the scent of their mother and littermates. We also provide essential documents such as vaccination records, microchip details, and a daily care schedule. While the contents may vary by breeder, our co-op ensures that every puppy pack equips new owners with the essentials needed for the initial days, excluding larger items like crates and playpen.

We also offer our adopters the unique opportunity to enter their dog into our ethical breeding program if they so choose to. This opportunity comes with the opportunity to earn extra income by helping the CO-OP raise and produce a healthy litter of Yorkies through a mother or father dog. Exclusive to our CO-OP [read more]

Willow, the male Morkie puppy, in Aspen CO, and new owner Clarise!

Clarise's experience so far 🥰🥰

We adore our little Willow. He is such an intuitive little fellow, great with my granddaughter who has autism. Willow is eager to be a companion to everyone in our immediate family. His temperament is true to his breed.

What was it like taking Willow home?🏠

Clarise opted for local pick up of male Morkie puppy, Willow. Clarise traveled from Denver CO to Parker, CO. This was an excellent choice as it gave everyone an opportunity to meet in person, ask any last-minute questions, and start bonding with Willow right away. Clarise and her 6 year old Shih tzu, were over joyed to finally bring Willow home.

Any Updates on Willow?💕

This Morkie puppy weighed 1.8 lbs at the health check just before going home on March 13, 2024. Willow is expected to weigh approximately 5-6 lbs all grown up! This is considered a Toy size for a Morkie as an adult. We’ll check in with Clarise next week to see how Willow is settling into life in Colorado! Stay tuned for updates on Willow’s growth at 1 week, 6 months, and 1 year on our blog and social media.
