What's a Breeder CO-OP?
A breeder co-op is a group of high-quality dog breeders who work together to uphold high standards, share resources, and make decisions as a group. Unlike backyard breeders or kennel clubs like the AKC—which set guidelines but offer little real oversight—a co-op ensures greater accountability and care for both dogs and buyers. This model leads to higher quality dogs, improved animal welfare, and better relationships with breeders and buyers.

Can we meet the puppies in person?
Yes. We firmly believe that buyers have a right to meet their future puppy before committing to a lifelong relationship with an animal. Traditional breeders often restrict visits due to the risk of introducing contagious diseases like parvovirus and distemper, which can devastate litters or bring parasites to the home, risking future litters and increasing vet bills. To mitigate these risks, our breeder co-op implements competent protocols: we vet interested buyers through phone interviews, prioritizing those most compatible with the puppies to visit first, enforce sanitary precautions such as shoe sanitization and handwashing, and offer PARVO/DISTEMPER guarantees on our puppies.
While rescues, pet shops, and backyard breeders often win hearts with emotional, unsupervised meet-and-greets, we prioritize the health and safety of our puppies by ensuring that visits are controlled, purposeful, and conducted only when it’s safe to do so (after the puppy is 8 weeks old and has recieved first vaccines, neo-par vaccines from 4 weeks onwards, and has been microchipped.) Are largest concentration of CO-OP Breeders are located in Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. We have smaller CO-OP groups in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa.
