Sometimes home delivery or airport delivery fees can be reduced significantly (or even waived) if the breeder or puppy nanny is already planning to delivery another puppy to your location (or will be passing through on the way). The key is to communicate to your breeder that you are interested in the upcoming schedule of deliveries.

Yorkie Cost, Rescue & Rehoming: Explained on Our Podcast

Rehoming Opportunities

All of our puppies are microchipped with our CO-OP as a dual emergency contact. If the need ever arises that we need to take a puppy or adult dog back due to external circumstances (death of an owner, divorce, medical reasons, relocation, etc) we do so with as much support as possible for the dog and family. In these cases we look to our community to rehome these animals. If you are exclusively interested in adding a yorkie to your family by means of rehoming, these still cost a rehoming fee. Sometimes we work with the old family to rehome their dog, in which case, you could be paying the rehoming-fee directly to the family. Dogs must be spayed or neutered before being rehomed. Fees can be as high as $2000 for a family who is rehoming a puppy under 6 months of age and wants to re-coup some of their investment- or as low as $400 for older dogs.

Rescue Opportunities

We mainly focus on our role as a breeder CO-OP. However, with our platform’s visibility, we also work with rescue and shelter organizations to network and raise awareness about the plight of yorkies in need. From retired backyard breeder’s dogs, to those who have been dumped at shelters, or even yorkies who have spent their early years in puppy mills. If we have the ability to help- we want to.
